Start by booking an intro call to learn more about TILLIT and get a demo of our platform and the employer experience. Tell us a bit about your current setup and we can explore how we can best help your company and empower your teams.

Onboard

Onboarding is quick and easy. You don’t have to rip out your current auto-enrolment pension provider, instead TILLIT is added alongside it. We’ll introduce you to your Account Manager and they will support you and your payroll team or accountants with how they manage employer contributions.

Launch

Once you have completed onboarding, we create a dedicated Employee Hub for your teams to explore what TILLIT can offer them. In addition, we’ll schedule a launch session for your team in which a senior member of the TILLIT team will introduce TILLIT, demo the platform and answer any questions they may have about pensions. We’ll create a bespoke session for your team’s needs to ensure everyone leaves excited about their pension.

Switch

Now we’re ready to welcome your team onto the TILLIT Pension! It is ultimately up to them to choose if they want to switch to TILLIT from your other pension provider. They can do so in three simple steps and we’ll be there to support them if they need us. You get automatic updates letting you know which employees have switched and from there, you can manage their contributions via our easy-to-use Employer Portal. And if you need help, your friendly Account Manager is there to support you.

Switching to TILLIT is just the beginning! Your team is empowered and supported to personalise their pension to fit their individual needs and values. They can do so on day one or leave all or part of their pension on Autopilot (which means they automatically stay invested in our default fund) until they are ready to take more control. Our team is here to support them and you along the way with dedicated webinars, investing content, regular check-ins and much more.

How much does TILLIT cost?

The standard TILLIT platform fee starts at 0.40% of the assets in the individual’s account. This fee is then reduced by 0.01% every year, until it reaches 0.25%, regardless of how much money is in their account.

By partnering with TILLIT, you can give your teams a 5-year head start on the TILLIT platform fee, which means that any member of your team who switches to TILLIT for their company pension will pay 0.35% in the first year. The fee will then drop by 0.01% as usual until it reaches 0.25%.

Fund fees are charged in addition to the TILLIT platform fee and depend on the funds the individual chooses. Fund fees start at 0.06%.

There are no fees or charges for the employer.

Can we use TILLIT as our auto-enrolment pension scheme?

At this stage, TILLIT cannot be used as your auto-enrolment scheme. Instead, TILLIT sits alongside your auto-enrolment scheme, giving your teams the freedom to choose between the two providers. The ability to make a choice is the first step in empowering your team to engage with their pension and ultimately take more control over their financial future.

We’re an asset manager, can we get access to our own funds?

Yes, you can! TILLIT was founded by Felicia Hjertman who before setting up TILLIT was a Fund Manager herself and she knows how frustrating it can be not to be able to invest in your own firm’s funds. That’s why one of many unique features the TILLIT Pension offers employers and their teams, is an Employer Exclusive Universe in which asset managers are able to have exclusive, ring-fenced access to their own-managed funds.

You can even offer your team special share classes and they will have access to the full range in their TILLIT Pension as well as any other accounts they have with TILLIT (Stocks & Shares ISA or General Investment Account).

Does the TILLIT Pension work with salary sacrifice?

Of course! Salary sacrifice is a great way for employers and employees to make the most of their pension contributions so that was a no-brainer for us when we built the TILLIT Pension.

What happens if an employee leaves?

The TILLIT Pension is ultimately a personal pension (a Self-Invested Personal Pension, or SIPP for short) which means that even if an employee leaves, they can take their pension with them and even continue to contribute to it directly themselves.

Is TILLIT regulated?

Yes! We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Our custodian, Seccl Custody Ltd (part of Octopus), is also authorised and regulated by the FCA and any eligible deposits are protected (up to ÂŁ85,000) by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
